The key to learning is class engagement.  This class blends theory and practices through exercises, quizzes, games and stories to create a fully immersive experience that allows participants to learn and understand key concepts by experiencing them throughout the class.  

The Advanced Scrum Master (A-CSM) will help you learn about what it takes to be a great Scrum Master and Agile Coach. This course is built upon shared experience and exercises that provide concrete practice to build deeper understanding of and skill with the topics covered. Working with your peers you will develop significantly greater depth in your Scrum Master practice. 

The class explores Agile Facilitation and Agile Coaching and how the ScrumMaster uses these skills to support the team, the Product Owner and the Organization. The class is full of real world examples from the attendees experiences and coaches attendees through practical tools and techniques that can be implemented immediately at your workplace. The class is a deep dive into your role as a ScrumMaster and the hands-on activities and exercises demonstrate key concepts and let you experience the next level of Scrum firsthand.

PRE-REQUISITES: 

Anyone is welcome to take this course, however, to receive your Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM™) you need to: 

• Have a current Certified Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
• Complete the Advanced Certified Scrum Master class (A-CSM) 
• Have at least 12 months of experience within the last 5 years that you demonstrate by updating the experience on your Scrum Alliance Profile

• Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) after successfully completing the class and verifying at least one year of Scrum Master work experience. There is no exam for this certification.
