Outcomes Before Features – The Science of Defining & Measuring Customer Value

We talk a lot about maximizing value for customers. But, ask someone exactly what value is….and you will often come up empty. Or abstract platitudes, like, “Faster, cheaper, easier.” Or worse, things that have nothing to do with customer value, such as “Number of subscribers, conversion rate, ROI.” These metrics are business value, not customer value.

In this session, we will explore an underutilized and very practical technique from Jobs To Be Done theory, called Customer Outcome Mapping. You will learn practical ways to discover, define, measure, and validate value. Giving you the data so you can ruthlessly prioritize, spend less time pivoting, and deliver more of what actually matters.
